July 9th (11:00-13:30) Delving into Japanese Green Tea
This 2.5 hour workshop is aimed at tea lovers who wish to deepen their knowledge of Japanese tea. We’ll take advantage of the fresh new 2016 harvest that is just coming in to discover roughly 20 different Japanese teas!!!
We’ll be preparing and discussing a wide range of interesting Japanese green teas that include Shincha, Matcha, Gyokuro, Kabusecha, Sencha, Tamaryokucha, Kukicha, Genmaicha, Bancha etc…
The purpose of this workshop is to truly understand the different Japanese green tea categories. We’ll taste the different teas and comment their distinctiveness, peculiarites, farming and processing.
