This 2.5 hour workshop is aimed at all those who wish to deepen their knowledge of oolong tea through a study and tasting of a wide selection of oolong teas from the country that has most specialized in this genre: Formosa (Taiwan)
Oolong tea is the broadest of all tea categories, covering all semi-oxidized teas, from very low oxidation teas like Baozhong or Pouchong, to low, middle and high oxidation teas, not to mention with varying degrees of roast.
The purpose of this workshop is to learn what oolong tea is and which are Taiwan’s most important oolong teas. For this we’ll do various rounds of tastings where we’ll focus our senses on perceiving the differences and similarities between these fantastic teas.
